Internet Censorship

Aaron McKenna has another nice column on the subject on http://www.thejournal.ie/readme/aaron-mckenna-thanks-to-the-government-internet-censorship-is-alive-and-well-980281-Jul2013/ in which he writes “By and large, internet censorship is entirely wrong. Almost any form of censorship is wrong.” It would be nice if the journal stopped censoring comments which highlight the dangers of creeping Sharia for example but Aaron’s piece is mainly to do with the banning downloading copyright material which hardly amounts to censorship, that’s just plain theft. Censorship really is a different matter.
